Diet Starts Tomorrow!

Wow. It’s been a hot minute (probably around 2.5 years) since these babies came out to play. I can’t remember the last time I weighed, measured, mass prepped, or tracked my food. I used to be OBSESSED with the numbers, but I recognized my mind and body needed time to heal, so I gave that to myself.
 
I’ve been focusing on self care, love, and acceptance rather than looking a certain way, and DAMN has it felt good to eat something because I WANT to, not because it’s “part of the plan”.
 
Inspiring conversations with several beautiful souls this past Friday led me to some introspection and reflection that night. I discovered I’m ready to actualize some goals I’ve been suffocating for a years due to an “unrealistic”/ “disbelief” / “lack” mindset (F*CK THAT!) Life is too short to let false beliefs limit us. Take risks. Follow your dreams. After all, there are no failures, only lessons, right?
 
#flexibledieting helped me remove my “good”/”bad”/controlling/restrictive mentality around food years ago, and I believe it’s the best option for me (and everyone haha) trying to achieve health and fitness goals (especially if they’ve struggled with their relationship with food). Being strict NOT restricted is where we are able to feel empowered by our choices rather than constrained and a prisoner of a “diet”. I can eat pizza and not feel guilty. Who doesn’t want that?!
 
I’ve been holding on to some blockage in regards to past broken relationships, and I truly believe it’s kept me from manifesting abundance in other areas of my life. Things didn’t work out. I was hurt. Move on, right?! Well, I haven’t fully let go, and while reading about or watching YouTube videos discussing limiting beliefs IS beneficial, for me, a friend looking at me in the face and saying “You know the only person that’s holding back is YOU, right?” Has shaken me AWAKE. Hurt people hurt people, and just because someone else has hurt me, doesn’t mean I need to vibrate from that space any longer.
 
I’m consciously taking more personal risks towards life goals that are in alignment with my true self. (One of the goals being a photoshoot, and the reason for my “strict” meals for a few weeks.)
 
It’s never too late to start taking Inspired action towards manifesting abundance for yourself (whatever that looks like to you). I challenge you to start recognizing your true desires and begin to think and act in alignment with those dreams. It may seem difficult at first, but it the Universe has got your back, and it sure as hell will be worth it.
